Privacy
What houPantry stores about you, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.
What we store
- Your email address. Used only to sign you in (we email you a one-time code) and to contact you about your alpha application. It is never shown publicly.
- Your display name and bio. These are public and shown on your profile and next to your recipes. You can change them on your account page.
- Recipes you publish. Each one includes the node network, a thumbnail, its name, description, tags and categories, and the Houdini version it was made with. Public recipes are visible to everyone. Private recipes aren't listed, searchable or shown on your profile, and can't be found by browsing our storage. One limitation for now: a private recipe's files can still be opened by someone who already has their exact link, for example from when the recipe was public.
- Pastries. A Pastry is a shared setup that anyone with its key can open. Pastries aren't linked to your account and expire after about 30 days, after which the key no longer opens anything.
- When you accepted the terms, so we know you're allowed to publish.
What we don't do
- No ads, no analytics or tracking scripts, and we don't sell or share your data.
- The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in. The plugin keeps its own sign-in on your computer, in your Houdini preferences folder.
Who handles it
houPantry runs on a few services that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting this website) and Resend (sending emails). Like most services, they keep short-lived technical logs such as IP addresses.
Deleting your data
- A recipe: delete it yourself at any time from its edit page on the website, or unpublish it from the plugin. Its files are deleted with it.
- Your whole account, or a copy of your data: during the alpha, email delete@houpantry.com from the address you signed up with, and we'll handle it by hand.
Recipes saved locally in the plugin never leave your computer unless you publish them, and deleting them is up to you.
